Studying Since
I’ve created over 1.5M images over the course of the last few years, beginning count in 2010. Subject matter include aerial and drone; real estate; architectural; portraits; still life and products; investigatory and legal imaging; food; automobiles; and even behind the scenes photography for short films, some of which I even acted short parts in. I’ve been studying photographic imaging since college in 1999. My background in law enforcement and investigation theory allowed me to bring out a love and passion for seeing the world around me as in a photograph. I certainly adore the technical aspects of creating great images, such as aperture and shutter speeds (I do enjoy shooting F-2.8 and the look of focused depth-of-field) but the challenge of capturing an accurate image, according to what I see as a vision through the viewfinder, is simply amazing. I’ve studied hundreds books and attended over a dozen in-service classes, involving every area of the craft, and I’m continuing to learn each day. Currently I’m involved in producing short video clips for local businesses and non-profits. This time of year brings many chances for businesses to update their product listings and catalogs which, of course, need images. Every since my dad handed me his film camera in the late 1980’s I’ve taken great joy in capturing photographic images. During college I flourished a talent for investigative photography. Now I’d like to share my photographic vision with all of you!
